About this Event
The Manchester Society of Architects is creating an exhibition as part of Manchester on Screen – an upcoming festival celebrating the city's starring role in film and television, and exploring the architecture that brings those stories to life.
We're looking for…
Architectural Drawings & Models design drawings, models and visual material of Manchester buildings or places that have featured in film or television.
Archive Material photographs, plans, drawings and archive material that reveal the history and changing character of Manchester's on-screen locations.
Photography either existing work or proposed new photographs that capture Manchester's cinematic locations and explore the city as a set.
Urban Sketches either existing work or proposed new sketches that celebrate Manchester's architecture, film locations and urban character.
Artwork paintings, prints, illustrations, sculptures and other creative responses inspired by Manchester's architecture and its many appearances in film and television.
Have something to share?
Whether you're an architect, artist, photographer, academic, urban sketcher or simply someone with a unique perspective on Manchester, we'd love to hear from you.
