1/4 scale General Grievous concept model for an imaginary Star Wars spin-off film. Initial sketches were imported and developed in Rhino 8, with organic elements sculpted in ZBrush before being integrated into the final CAD model. The majority of the build was FDM printed using a 0.2 nozzle, then sanded, primed, and finished to a paint-ready standard.

The project includes moulding and casting processes, including a clear green epoxy resin “organ tank” encapsulating a ZBrush print and a poseable silicone neck. Internal welded steel rods provide structural support throughout the body and base. Wired LED lightsabers run through the cape into a concealed 3V battery housed in the base. The model is fully modular for transport and assembly. All detailing was hand painted; the metallic segments were created using layered iron paste and weathering techniques, while the cream armour elements were finished using spray paint.

1/35 scale Borgund Stave Church model created using a 3D scan provided by Munich University and hosted on the Borgund Stave Church website, I converted the scan data into orthographic drawings imported into Rhino as the foundation for the CAD model.

The structure was digitally modelled in Rhino before being separated into fabrication methods and materials. Roof tiles were FDM printed, while dragons, crosses, and soffits were resin printed. The internal structure combined high-density Chemi-wood with precision laser-cut acrylic, acting as an assembly jig for accurate alignment. Walls and roofs were laser cut from MDF, while curved rear spires were hand assembled from layered card strips.

The stone flooring and interior woodwork were hand painted before assembly, allowing detail visible through the veranda and interior spaces. Final finishing used zenithal highlighting, dry brushing, weathering, and pigment work to bring the structure to life.

Alternative-history medieval helmet inspired by a world where Harold Godwinson won Hastings, blending Anglo-Saxon, Norse, and Gothic influences for film/TV prop

Alternative-history wearable prop helmet inspired by Anglo-Saxon, Norse, and medieval European aesthetics. Much of the project focused on research and design development, studying the symbolism, mythology, and armour styles of the cultures referenced to create a believable yet fictional design.
The main helmet structure was created through vacuum forming, using a hand-carved former with layered styrene vacuum moulds to build the articulated rear neck armour. The top finial was 3D printed to conceal the seam between the helmet halves. The pivoting face shield was laser cut in acrylic, moulded in silicone, then cast in polyurethane resin then shaped around the original form for a precise fit.
The chainmail was fully hand assembled using aluminium rings in a traditional 4-in-1 pattern. A recycled bike helmet was integrated into the interior for comfort and adjustability. The final finish used layered iron paste, Silver and Goldfinger waxes, gloss black undercoats, and washes.

I specialise in creating accurate scale models and physical builds using FDM 3D printing, MDF, acrylic, and styrene. My work combines traditional model making with digital workflows in Rhino and ZBrush, taking projects from concept to finished piece. Skilled in fabrication, miniature painting, texturing, and weathering, I’m currently seeking opportunities in film, TV, prop shops, model workshops, architecture, and creative fabrication studios.
