Scaled-up cafetiere

A 2:1 scale cafetiere for advertising purposes. The frame is heat bent chemiwood finished with spray paint. The metal work inside is steel and aluminium, the steel being water-jet cut and the aluminium pieces turned on a lathe.

Poole Museum Loan Box

This was made for Poole Museum and their education outreach programmes. The pieces are all items on display at the museum, recreated to look as they did before they degraded. This used a variety of techniques, including wood-turning, sand-casting, sculpting and whittling.

Animals & Creatures

Japanese Rhinoceros Beetle Sculpt

The beetle is sculpted milliput, made over a foam and wire frame and sprayed with cellulose paint to finish. It is sat on a jesmonite log that has been painted with acrylics.
