At JMSS we pride ourselves on being flexible and adaptive to our clients needs. We work on low budget sets/props to one off sculpts for events all the way through to feature films.

We provide consultancy services at early stages of set & prop design, where we are able to use our 30+ years of experience to assist clients with finding the optimum solution that meets all their needs.

We have access in house to the full spectrum of scenic tools from experienced sculptors & painters to specialist digital designers and mould makers.
We have many years experience in spraying both PU foams and PU resins at our workshops in Gloucester and also on sets and locations around the world, we currently run 3 mobile Graco E-10hp machines and 3 semi mobile Graco EXP1/2 machines.

We also have access through our sister company Robocarv Ltd to state of the art CNC equipment with access to 3,5 and 7 axis machines and also CNC hotwire equipment.

Aquaman - large CNC'd poly walls for submarine set
Aquaman - Multiple CNC'd moulds to produce GFRP shells for SFX submarine
CATS the movie - 50ft long hardcoated, CNC sculpted poly copy of one of the Trafalgar square lions
Fosters - 17ft statue of DAVEO for the Ashes matches
DAMSEL - Multiple cave build for Netflix
KONG - 7.5m tall replica of the original artwork by Nicolas Monro for the commonwealth games in Birmingham
