SUMMER 2026: ARCHITECTURAL MODEL MAKING
Allford Hall Monaghan Morris Architects, London
27 Jul 2026 - 7 Aug 2026
About this Course
Course Outline
Do you have an interest in architecture and film, more specifically architecture in film? Yes? Then this is the course for you!
Your task will be to select a film or TV programme and reimagine it. For example, you could make a small replica of a building from Blade Runner 2049, redesign Hogwarts, or even give The Queen Vic from EastEnders a new look.
Using an array of traditional and modern model making techniques you will produce a scale model, that when lit, will on camera look like a real film or TV Set.
Send an application via the βapply nowβ link (applications open on the 27th March 2026) and we will follow up with an email where you can send your designs to. Applications and designs must be submitted before 5pm Thursday 30th of April 2026. These can be sent in simple sketch form with annotations or 3D computer models. Only the most creative and unique ideas will be considered for interview.
Good luck β weβre excited to see what you come up with!
