7Gods Lighting are currently looking for a production assistance to join our creative team.
7Gods is a leading British bespoke sculptural lighting studio specialising in the design and manufacture of statement chandeliers. Every piece is handcrafted by our artisans in their North London workshops. Our clients include an array of leading interior designers, architects and galleries around the world. We are looking for an enthusiastic production assistance to join our small creative team and help take 7Gods to the next level. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate to work on unique products and bring it to life.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Assists with production
Work with composite materials
Assists mould making
Creation of prototypes
Daily studio activities
Assist with ad hoc activities such as marketing, photoshoot, liaising with third party partners etc Requirements
Must have experience with working with your hands
Have a hands-on reactive approach. As a person, you are highly motivated, organised and detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple projects at once and to meet tight deadlines
Strong communication skills
Be confident using various power tools
Interest in design / interiors / architecture is a plus
Understanding of technical drawings is a advantage
This position is part time, 3 days per week with a 3 months’ probation period. Successful candidates will be given full training, we are looking for someone who can grow with us. Salary depends on experience. Based in N22 area.
