As we continue to bring to life award-winning venues and experiences our EMEA Practice is looking for a Junior Modelmaker based in our model shop, which is just a short walk from our Putney studio.
About the Role
This role sits within our Model Making team. You’ll work closely with the Model Making Manager and architectural teams to produce project models.
Key responsibilities include:
Have a good working knowledge of Rhino, AutoCAD. It would be advantageous to have other similar programmes to prepare drawings for model production.
Experience in the use of rapid prototyping machines. (Laser cutter, 3D printing) and associated programmes.
Be proficient in the use of traditional workshop tools and machinery (Table saw, Band saw, Bench sander, Pillar drill) and hand tools.
Have the ability to take initiative in response to direction or instruction.
Have strong organisational skills and the ability to self-supervise your time and workload in an efficient manner.
Maintain a clean work environment and facilities
Mask and spray components using a variety of media and spray techniques.
Key requirements include:
Enthusiastic maker with creative drive and outlook.
Trained and qualified in the field of modelmaking
Some years post-qualification experience in a modelmaking environment.
Ability to adapt quickly and cope with tight deadlines or multiple projects at once.
Positive attitude with the drive to complete all tasks to an excellent standard

Our Putney studio, which is also our EMEA Headquarters, is located on the banks of the River Thames, a short walk from Putney High Street and with excellent travel connections.
