Modelmaker

We are looking to recruit an experienced modelmaker to join our highly skilled in-house workshop in London. Working within a large and exceptionally equipped modern workshop, you will draw on your experience of both the latest and traditional modelmaking techniques and processes to deliver creatively outstanding models. You will be working on a variety of projects covering all scales, from large masterplans to full size design mock-ups and exhibition models.

You will have proven experience within an architectural practice or model making studio as well as the ability to understand and interpret architectural drawings, hand drawn sketches and written information to physical making. Proficiency in laser cutting principles, 3D printing (SLA), experience on a variety of woodworking machinery and spray-painting techniques. Experience in 2D and 3D CAD software with knowledge of Rhino, AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation and Adobe Suite would be highly desirable. You will have sound communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team on a range of high-profile projects. Flexible, reliable and self-motivated you will be comfortable working to tight deadlines.
