Tiffany Valentines Autopsy

At the Core of this Doll, she has a reinforced plastic jointed skeletal structure, coated in soft foam and skin tone mesh. Her hands , hands, gums and tongue, have all been sculpted, moulded and casted in Platsil 10, to allow possible animatronics to be fitted if needed. All hair has been hand dyed and styled, alongside a baby-sized stell boned corset and wedding gown, all hand sewn from preloved and sustainable fabric.
The addition of the corset to this character allows her abdomen to be examined using the y-incision method, used commonly in autopsies. Organs and gore were an accumulation of latex, mixed media and silicone, with exposed stuffing and wiring to simulate the interaction between both doll and human.

In context this interactive model would be used alongside a Tiffany animatronic, as due to the open stomach, it would be less than ideal to have full body wiring. This doll would be mainly used in a short scene, with scientists and doctors examining the infamous killer.

Bertie & Ernie - Hand felted Cat Puppets with touches of circus and 1920s flair. All materials used are second hand and preloved.

Based on my two cats who have since passed, these models remain as memorial pieces. The clothing and general characteristic design were sculpted, patterned and sewn by hand. These two puppets have bendable limbs due to the wire core, and can be controlled through the back of the head.

The base of the shoe is a rundown set of heels - which would have otherwise been thrown. This was build upon and sculpted onto using epoxy clay for durability, and further added to with a mixture of cotton, mesh and various texture fabrics to allow to 'fleshy' texture to be captured. The sole of the shoe is a sculpted tongue which was casted in soft foam for both aesthetic and comfort.
