My model is a stop motion rat like creature with part of its set and a 30 second looping stop motion video to go with it.

I worked on a 1:3 scale with mainly recycled materials for the set, creating my own texture pastes and paint washes to make a sewer setting. The rat is a fully posable puppet with a hinged jaw and feet that has reclaimed mink fur on its body that follows the natural growth pattern of real rats. My stop motion video was recorded in twos for the most part and edited in After Effects.

I have an eye for details and I prefer to work on scaled down models or on the visual effects side of things. I specialize in puppet making and set creation, working with materials such as reclaimed wood, fur and foam. After graduation I would ideally like to pursue a career in stop motion as a puppet maker.
