This monster mask, inspired by The Picture of Dorian Gray, demonstrates a range of sculpting, mould-making, casting, and finishing techniques. The original design was hand sculpted in NSP clay, allowing for the development of detailed textures, wounds, and surface imperfections. A silicone mould was then produced from the sculpture and used to create a lightweight Jesmonite casting using a swirl-casting technique. Once cast, the piece was prepared and finished using layered airbrushed paint applications to build realistic skin tones and depth. The wounds were hand painted using red and brown tones to create the appearance of aged, infected flesh, while yellow highlights were added to the boils and lesions to enhance realism. Epoxy resin was applied selectively over the wounds and affected areas to create a wet, irritated appearance, demonstrating attention to detail in horror effects finishing and realistic surface treatment techniques.

This scaled replica of the Christopher Eccleston-era TARDIS demonstrates a combination of digital design, modelmaking, fabrication, and finishing skills. The wall panels were designed in AutoCAD, with each layer carefully drawn to accurately recreate the proportions and architectural details of the original prop at scale. These components were precision laser cut and assembled to form the main structure. The roof and lantern assembly were modelled in Fusion 360 and produced through 3D printing, allowing for the accurate reproduction of complex shapes and fine details. Once assembled, the model was prepared and finished using acrylic paints. Layered painting, washes, and weathering techniques were applied to replicate the worn appearance of the screen-used TARDIS.

This Compact Pussycat replica demonstrates a range of modelmaking and prop fabrication skills, from initial shaping through to final finishing. The main body was carved and refined from RenShape modelling board, allowing for accurate reproduction of the vehicle's complex curves and stylised forms. Individual components were fabricated separately and assembled using epoxy adhesive to create a strong, durable structure. Interior elements, including the seat, were laser cut and hand-finished through sanding and shaping to achieve the distinctive appearance of a 1950s-inspired car seat. Additional details such as the steering wheel and windscreen frame were also laser cut for precision and consistency. The completed model was carefully prepared for paint, airbrushed to achieve a smooth, even finish, and sealed with a high-gloss clear coat to replicate the reflective surface of a full-sized automotive paint job.
